🚫 Avoid before the appointment
Lash serum — ideally stop 24–48 hours before, especially growth serums or oily serums.
Mascara — don’t wear it the day of the appointment.
Waterproof makeup — can leave a film that is difficult to remove completely.
Oils or oil-based eye creams — avoid around the eyes for at least 24 hours.
Heavy eye makeup — eyeliner, eyeshadow, and lash primer should be removed before treatment.
Lash extensions or lash clusters — these need to be removed before a lash lift.
Curling the lashes — avoid mechanical lash curlers before the appointment.
Very oily skincare products around the eye area.
Strong exfoliating/active products close to the eyes (such as retinoids or acids), because they can make the skin more sensitive
